??The @net is a small network of anarchist bulletin board systems and online internet sites. At the moment it's an Australian network, but we're developing links with groups in other countries and we hope one day we'll be part of an international anarchist network.
Xchange BBS is an anarchist bulletin board in Melbourne. It was the first specifically anarchist bbs in any of the Australian capital cities and was the beginning of the @net.
Also in Melbourne, Barricade Books Infoshop provides a public shopfront focus for the anarchist movement. Bedlam BBS is an @net system in the shop, providing cheap access to internet email and @net stuff for people who haven't got a computer of their own.
Cat@lyst in Sydney is the first @net system to get a full time connection to the net. They are based in the Media Room, which is at the back of Black Rose Anarchist Bookshop.
Xchange bbs also has links with European Counter Network in Italy. With a large fido-protocol network of BBSs and now their own web server, these comrades from the Italian "antagonistic" movement are well worth checking out.
